ASP Services

ASP is a full-service wilderness outfitter and guide service. We offer year-round programs for families, best buds, church or school groups, businesses and individuals. We can provide the food, the technical gear and the transportation. Our knowledge of and permitted access to National Forests allows us to go where many cannot. We have experience developing programs or enhancing existing programs at schools, parks and recreation services.

We specialize in a core set of adventure outings that can include:

Whitewater rafting
Whitewater or flat water canoeing
Whitewater or flat water American Canoe Association instruction
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced hiking, backcountry backpacking and camping
Winter snowshoeing and camping
Leave No Trace Trainer courses

Our Guides Make the Difference. Athlete, naturalist, entertainer, medic, historian, storyteller and chef are among the things we expect our guides to be. What you can expect from the ASP staff is a keen attention to the adventure at hand with a natural ability for inspiring fun, fostering camaraderie and creating the level of wilderness experience you want. These are folks whose infectious gusto for wanting people to experience the outdoors makes the difference between a good trip and an extraordinary one.

Safety and Judgment First . We are proud of our safety management procedures as an investment in our customer’s well being while they are with us. All of our guides are Wilderness First Responders-a nationally recognized certification requiring 72 hours of intensive back-country medical training. ASP guides also hold current instructor certifications with the American Canoe Association (ACA).
